Our libraries are cared for by our very own resident couple Geoff and Margaret Slade. The main library is situated alongside the swimming pool. Our Community Centre where the Pioneer Club members meet to participate in and enjoy social occasions also houses a smaller library, which is cared for by Hilary & Co.

Darrenwood Village has two libraries which are conveniently located, one is adjacent to the swimming pool and the other is in the Pioneer Clubhouse. A willing group of volunteers ensures that the books are correctly returned to the shelves and that the libraries are kept neat and tidy. Jigsaw puzzles Classical music CDs and a comprehensive range of books covering romance, crime, and mystery, autobiographies of local & overseas personalities, sport, travel, gardening, war, history, and many other topics are freely available.
